Applying

Who can apply for a Glenn Hill loan?

We lend to registered businesses, institutions and individuals who have a clear purpose for the funds and can show they are able to repay. Specific criteria depend on the loan type and amount.

How much can I borrow?

Our loans range from a minimum of $2 million up to $500 million. The amount we can offer depends on the loan type, your financial position, the purpose of the funds and any security offered.

How long does the application take?

The online application takes around 5 minutes. Once we have all your documents, our credit team works to give you a decision as quickly as possible. Your lending specialist will keep you updated throughout.

What documents will I need?

Usually business registration documents, recent financial and bank statements, and identification for directors. See the full documents checklist.

Does applying affect my credit?

Submitting an enquiry does not commit you to anything. We'll explain any credit checks we need to carry out before they happen.

Rates & fees

What interest rate will I pay?

Your rate depends on the loan type, term, amount, security and our credit assessment. You'll receive a written offer showing your rate, all fees and the total cost before you sign anything.

Are there any hidden fees?

No. All fees, such as arrangement or legal fees where applicable, are set out in your loan offer and agreement.

Is the loan calculator accurate?

The calculator gives an illustrative estimate based on the amount, term and rate you enter. Your actual repayments are confirmed in your offer.

Repayments

What is a repayment moratorium?

A moratorium is a period at the start of your loan before principal repayments begin, giving your project or business time to generate cash flow. We offer moratoriums of up to 2 years. The treatment of interest during the moratorium is confirmed in your loan offer.

How long do I have to repay?

After any moratorium, loans can be repaid over a period of up to 10 years, so the total loan tenor can be up to 12 years.

How do I repay my loan?

Most loans are repaid in monthly instalments by bank transfer. Some products, such as invoice finance or business cash advances, are repaid as your invoices are paid or in line with your revenue.

Can I repay early?

In many cases, yes. Any early repayment terms are set out clearly in your loan agreement.

What if I have trouble making a payment?

Contact your lending specialist as early as possible. We'll work with you to understand the situation and look at options. See our responsible lending commitments.

Security & safety

Do I need to provide security?

It depends on the product. Equipment finance is usually secured on the equipment, invoice finance on your receivables, and bridge or project loans on property or project assets. Some working capital facilities may be available unsecured.

How do I know I'm dealing with the real Glenn Hill?

We only contact you from @glennhill.com email addresses, and all loan offers come on Glenn Hill documentation. If you receive a suspicious message using our name, email [email protected] before taking any action.

How is my personal information protected?
